RentACoder has at least two cool features which protect both software buyer and coder.

Let's prevent potential problems, which are frequent for contract development.

1.Arbitration process. Should the buyer and coder not be able to come to agreement, RentACoder™ designated
as sole mediator and arbitrator. Mediation is like a diplomatic negotiation. Arbitration is like a court trial.

Arbitration/mediation examples:

GavelThe coder (coder name) did not complete the work by the deadline. The funds were returned to the buyer (buyer name)

GavelThe buyer (buyer name) alleges "we just cant get it to work for some odd reason, we pretty much tried everything".
Both parties agreed to a 60% payment to the coder, and the 40% refund to the buyer.

GavelThe buyer stopped responding to arbitration. Testing showed that 69% of the work was complete.
The coder (coder name) was paid that amount of the bid. The buyer's (buyer name) remaining funds were refunded.

The money is not released to the coder, till he complete the work according to original specification.
